I am Amlan, an Indian from Calcutt who was mainly living in Mumbai and recently moved to Paris.

Professionally, I am a Scientist working (currently as a postdoctoral scientist) in the field of Biological science for the past 7 years and loving every minute of it.

When not working in the lab, I explore around to discover new places. I often travel with a camera and enjoy photography, with mostly landscape, cityscape, nature, and wildlife as primary subjects. I also have a passion for art, particularly charcoal or pencil sketching and watercolour painting. Sometimes I create digital art as well. I'm also into graphic design, web design, and branding. I am also a major art history nerd, with a particular interest from the Renaissance and Baroque to Neoclassical periods. So, you will find me often in museums and art galleries.
